Devoney Looser

Devoney Looser is Professor of English at Arizona State University and the author or editor of seven books on literature by women. Her most recent is 'The Making of Jane Austen' (Johns Hopkins University Press), which was named a Publishers Weekly Best Summer Book for Nonfiction in 2017. Devoney's recent writing on Austen has appeared in 'The Atlantic', the 'New York Times', 'Salon', 'The TLS', and 'Entertainment Weekly', and she's also had the opportunity to talk about Austen on CNN.
