Douglas Kelley

Douglas Kelley is Professor of Communication Studies and a Lincoln Professor of Applied Ethics at Arizona State University. Much of his research has focused on Marital Communication, resulting in a book by the same name published in 2012. His 1998 study, 'The Communication of Forgiveness', is the seminal piece of research on the communication of forgiveness, and launched two decades of work focusing on various forgiveness processes, culminating with the two-time award-winning book Communicating Forgiveness (2008).
