This Copim and SCONUL-hosted webinar, held 25th January 2024, brought together UK library leaders to share their perspectives on their library’s role in OA book funding and publishing.

Opening the Future is expanding its list of participating publishers, using our funding infrastructure to support more smaller, scholarly presses in their move towards equitable and sustainable open access publishing.

In the first quarter of 2024, Opening the Future has been working on updating the front and back end of our websites to reflect changes to both our infrastructure, and the wider landscape of funding and publication.

In this post, we set out some of the preliminary considerations for embedding Opening the Future into third party workflows further down the line.
